Field journal of the backpack owner

The owner of the backpack, like many spellcasters from Thifth, focuses his magical practice on his relationship with natural life. While this book also houses the everyday scrawlings of its keeper, this journal maintains careful botanical sketches of flora around Thifth. Alongside these sketches are brief notes on the location of its finding and any unique properties of the plant. Many of these sketches focus on plants that appear sickly or dying, potentially implying a career as a natural cleric or remedial druid.

Commentary

Written in Irameld, the dominant language of the southeastern region of Fralk. Alongside the Irameld are occasional, short jottings in an unidentifiable language. Several pages are either ripped out or completely blacked out with ink. Careful study of blacked-out pages show them to all be drawings of the same flower.
